State Society Scholarships

​

• Margaret "Peggy" Griffith Memorial Scholarship - applicants are anticipated to enroll full-time in an accredited degree-granting institution, including vocational education. This scholarship is not contingent on college GPA, and a college transcript is not required at the conclusion of the semester. The scholarship is a one-time $500 award.

National Society Scholarships

• Cornelia H. Williamson Scholarship - Undergraduate student (Junior or Senior) majoring in History (emphasis US studies). A $500 scholarship will be awarded per semester, four semesters maximum.
   

• General Scholarship - Undergraduate or Master's level - Applicant must have carried from the last semester of school a 3.0 GPA and a minimum of 12 Undergraduate credits/hours or 9 Master’s level credits/hours. A $500 scholarship will be awarded per semester, four semesters maximum.
   

• Johnston Scholarship - High school Senior with a GPA 3.9 or higher at time of application. A $500 scholarship will be awarded per semester, four semesters maximum.
   

• Mary Florence Taney Scholarship - High School Senior with a GPA 3.0 GPA at the time of application. A $500 scholarship will be awarded per semester, four semesters maximum.
   

• Pocahontas Scholarship - Native American applicant studying in any field who has completed one year of college. A $500 scholarship will be awarded per semester, four semesters maximum.
  
  All scholarship information must be requested by the student and not by the family or by a chapter.
